  • A concert celebrating 200 years of male choir singing in Finland, with other leading Finnish male choirs, at the Helsinki Music Centre
  • Matinee Concert on the 1st of May (including e.g. Strauss’s Wein, Weib und Gesang) together with the Polytech Choir alumni chorus Otaniemen Kaiku, with Lahti Symphony Orchestra, and with conductor Jan Söderblom, at the Sibelius Hall in Lahti
  • Siivet (Wings), an a cappella concert, as part of the Musica Nova Festival, at the Temppeliaukio Church in Helsinki. Premiere of Paavo Korpijaakko’s Siivet (Wings), commissioned for male chorus and saxophone quartet, together with the saxophone quartet Aava.

  • Premiere of Lotta Wennäkoski’s Uniin asti, co-commissioned with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra for Finland’s centennial anniversary, with the Orchestra and conductor Hannu Lintu; and Sibelius’s Kullervo, together with the Estonian National Male Choir, the FRSO, and Hannu Lintu, all broadcast on live national television from the Helsinki Music Centre on Finland’s centennial anniversary

  • A tradition is formed – first joint serenade concert on International Women’s Day, with Polytech Choir alumni chorus Otaniemen Kaiku.
